In late 2001 I became interested in photographing birds. All of my bird pictures have been made with Canon digital cameras (D30, D60, 10d. 20d, or 1d Mark II) using either a 100-400mm f5.6 image stabilized lens, a 500mm f4 image stabilized lens, or a 300mm f2.8 image stabilized lens. The latter two lenses are often used with either a 1.4x or 2x extender. The pictures were shot in Florida, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Texas, and Maine. Note that the newest pictures have a red diamond next to their names in the following list.
